SAC Online Workshop: SAC Dysphagia Virtual Workshop 2025

November 6 @ 7:30 am - 4:00 pm

This workshop is designed as a knowledge-sharing opportunity to bring together experts and practitioners from across the country to exchange evidence, strategies, and perspectives on swallowing and feeding care across the lifespan.

The program will highlight diverse contexts of practice, from pediatric and neonatal care through to complex adult and end-of-life considerations. It will also include discussion of interprofessional approaches in areas such as stroke, dementia, cancer, rehabilitation, and long-term care. By creating space for dialogue and reflection, this event aims to strengthen understanding of current practices and emerging issues in dysphagia care.

While the workshop is of particular relevance to speech-language pathologists, it is also intended to engage other health professionals, researchers, and advocates who contribute to advancing care for individuals with swallowing and feeding challenges. Participants may join live or access the recordings at their convenience until February 27, 2026.
